Equinox Detox: A Fall Yoga + Wellness Retreat

At the Autumn Equinox, Earth’s tilt toward the sun gives us the perfect balance of daylight and darkness – and an opportunity to find greater balance within ourselves. During this transition from the warm, bright days of summer to the crisp coolness of autumn, a gentle cleanse of the body, mind and soul can help center and strengthen us for the darker days to come.

Nourish your whole self with a mindful reset at our annual Yoga + Wellness retreat in beautiful Northern Michigan. You’ll spend four rejuvenating days at a private lakeside lodge near Sleeping Bear Dunes surrounded by clear waters, forest trails, and expansive skies. Take some time for yourself to slow down and listen to nature’s rhythms, learning simple wellness practices to bring greater balance, freedom and fulfillment into your life.

At the lodge, on the beach, and along the trail, we will:

  • Practice yoga that strengthens, restores, and reconnects – with breathwork, deep relaxation + meditation
  • Spend time in nature, exploring the beaches + trails of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
  • Bask in the healing vibrations of sound baths
  • Explore Ayurveda, the ancient science of self-healing, learning about daily wellness practices to increase resilience + vitality
  • Cleanse + nourish our whole selves with saunas, soaks in the hot tub and delicious nutrient-rich meals in tune with the season
  • Spend quality time in community with fellow nature and yoga enthusiasts

This retreat is designed to help you transition intentionally from summer’s heat into the cooler months ahead – feeling grounded, energized, and deeply nourished. All classes and workshops taught by Amy Hubbell.

About the Venue: Located on an inland lake near the gateway to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, we’ll be staying at a unique and private lodge with its own outdoor sauna and hot tub, dock with kayaks and SUPs, huge wraparound deck, and plenty of space to gather, dine and just relax.
